Villa Paraiso Resort: Your Home in Camiguin

Hep! Commercial break.

I thought I'd need to inform everybody about the place we have stayed while in Camiguin.

(Yes, I've been there twice he he). I'll have a separate blog for that.

This is for a couple of good reasons - one because the accomodation is superb, with courteous employees, very flexible in facilitating your desired activities while on the island, clean amenities, offers reasonable price and most of all - this is my own little way (and the cheapest ) of helping out my dear sister and brother-in-law in advertising the place. They really helped me a lot when I hosted our QRE group outing last year - June 16 to 19, 2006. Our stay was very comfortable, fun and memorable.

Here are a few pictures of the place you'll loved to go home to on the island of Camiguin.

>>> Resort bar. This is our meeting place everyday for our daily trips. Place is filled with drinks e.g coffee, wine, fruit juice, softdrink (or soda), mineral water, tea, beer, vodka, etc. This is so cool considering you're on an "island".

>>> Our private room just next to Kuya Jun's room. That's me, just arrived on the place.

>>> Big rooms to cater for large groups 15-20 pax.

>>> Family room is wood-tiled, equipped with TV, ref, cooking range, dining table.

>>> Swimming Pool area with tennis court at the back.

>>> Conference Hall - convenient for seminars, small gatherings to big ones like weddings, birthdays, baptismal. Yes, the resort is often being rented for these occasions. You can either rent the place only or have them do the catering as well.

>>>So what are you waiting for? Go plan and schedule your next trip - it must be Camiguin. And Villa Paraiso is the place to be.

Note: During summer season and October, when Camiguin celebrates The Lanzones Festival, I would recommend to make reservations in advance. You wouldn't want to be else where.

I stayed at the Villa Paraiso Resort with my fiancee twice. The first time was Jan.06, we were so impressed with the freindly staff and service that when we returned in Oct.07,there was no other place on the island we ever considered staying. However it was during the Lazones Festival, most of the hotels on the the island, had no vacancies. I had the pleasure and opportunity to meet the owner Mr. Filemon Sosmena who had his staff phone most of the other hotels on the island to find us a room. We were able to stay the night there. The next day Mr. Sosmena offered to drive my fiancee and I to see other hotels on the island to find a place we felt comfortable at.Thanks to him we did and he refused to be compensated for his time, effort or fuel. When ever we go to Camiguin we always consider Villa Praiso Resort our home and only choice to stay. Thank you, Mr.Sosmena and the Villa Paraiso Resort family, your #1.
